September 15, 200817 yr Without going into to many details, a friend of my wife was beaten by her husband and has spent 3 days in the hospital. My wife went to visit her friend in the hospital and found out that this wasn't the first time something like this has happened, but it was the worst so far... She checked out of the hospital today and told her husband that she was going to her mom's, but has rented a small apartment and plans on leaving the guy. Does anyone know of any woman's support groups that are available to women here in Thailand?

September 16, 200817 yr Author I have been advised by a friend to contact Thailand's leading organization for women, the Paweena Foundation, but I have not been able to find any contact details online and it is not on the pinned list. This foundation is run by a former MP and I have found a lot of articles during my websearch, but nothing with any contact information???? Edited September 16, 200817 yr by CWMcMurray
