FILL YA BOOTS !

The ACTUAL "No Links" rule is:

10) Please do not post links to pages that contain objectionable material. This includes, warez, cracks, file sharing, pornography, pyramid schemes, referral ID's, ebay listings and requesting donations.

But in reality you forgot TV other rule - Rule 101, para 97b line 395 "If TV cannot get commision, the link is not allowed."

They have their own "Appointed" Travel Agent, from who they get commission.

As they will probibly say. "This forum is for free speachk, not free publicity."

I expect they will warn me for "FLAMING" admin or ban me for telling the truth and this post deleted......

Damned. I thought it was section 8-A425 !

But anyway, it's the same principle. And indeed, a link to an airline's website is utterly "objectionable " (plus the fact that... obviously...

Middle East... you never know... right ?). :o

Just another Administrator on a crusade.... Let it go. :D

I've tried to give TV travel business a number of times and they have been so far off the mark it was incredible. I have on the ground agents beating websites and TV couldn't get near the website, nevermind the agents I used.

If it was a link, say to Airline Network or the airline itself then I don't see why it should be removed. The members make up the revenue which TV generates and though sponsors do pay I agree, perhaps the boundaries are not where they should be. TV is more businesslike than ever before but it is the rank and file which make it as profitable as it presumably is.
