Kids Wearing Helmets On A Motorbike Sidecar.

Shock News ! People wearing helmets while riding on a motorbike with headlights on.

This is such a rare event, it is newsworthy in this country, I expect it to be covered on national TV.

Good stuff !!!

Think it was a stunt ? If so, well done, as it makes helmet-donning quite cool in a Thai way. And if not, same applies & excellent work on the part of the policeman and, of course, the riders. Hope this family continue to gain face and approval & others follow suit (or "hat").

Hope this item makes front page in the Thai media.

Just think what would happen to the death & injury incidence if helmets became the rule rather than the exception. Seem to be quite a few road checks going on in Chiang Mai lately. Some campaign going on ? Some ads featuring helmeted pop & film stars could work ... I think fear of helmet hair may be quite a deterrent to the young here.

just sums up the majority of Thais, laughing at there fellow country folk for having common sense to protect there family...

Unusual vehicle. A motorbike and side car with a vinyl roof on a frame. Would be hard to control on a windy day.

Not provided all is aligned correctly , more to attaching a side car than just a few nuts and bolts , at one time considered the safest vehicle on the road with the lowest insurance rates and accident statistics .

Go wickadoodle it or whatever , feel sure you can find it somewhere in your vast library of statistical lore .

Very common here. Not so much the bull-in-a-pickup though. :o

I meant with the roof up.. You could be off like Mary Poppins and end up in the sea.
