Can I Get Non Imm O Local

i am a usa citizen 64 y/o

today i had money tranfered in to my thai bank 1000000 baht

now i want a non o visa to apply for year extention

i have a tourist visa now

however next month i will visit my sister in singapore can i apply there for 1 entry non o

if not i will go back to thailand via penang

or should i get a cheap ticket and go to perth

or can i convert a tourist visa to non o any help will be welcome

You should be able to convert your tourist visa to a Non Imm O to get the extension.

Remember that the money has to be in the bank for 90 days before you apply.

Therefore you will probably be better off getting a new 60 day tourist visa when you visit Singapore.

You can ask the embassy there if they will issue a Non Imm O.

Be ready with your bank book to show you have money and a house rental agreement may also be requested.

You maybe able to get a single Non O Visa in Singapore.

If not a Tourist Visa will be ok and can be converted as Astral said.
