My daughter is only 2 and a half and has a non o visa because of my visa. We both have to do our 90 day notification. Should I send hers in one envelope with all the documents or would it be better to send it along with mine in the same envelope?

Don't want to mess this up as it's really expensive to mess up 4000b X2 :o

Anyone who knows from experience or a friend etc. Pls let me know ASAP :D

I see no reason why you should need two envelopes.

Why does it cost you 4000baht?

Registered mail is lot cheaper than that

Agree. I was also wondering where the 4,000 Baht came in.

If he is referring to the fine for not reporting it is 2,000 Baht

Yeah I am doing it by post which costs less than 50b, but if I put it in one envelope and they aren't happy or ignore it etc. the fine will be 4000b each it used to be 2000 but not anymore :opost-56705-1222155786_thumb.jpg

“not exceeding 5,000 Baht” means anything from 1 Baht to 5,000 Baht. From posts made by other members the current policy is a fine of 2,000 Baht. Have you, or has any other member, had to pay 4,000 Baht and got a receipt for 4,000 Baht?

Not yet, but that's what I'm trying to avoid.I paid 2000b fines four times but that was 2-3 years ago, I've been a bit more on the case for the lasr year. Plus this is the first time for my daughter. Anyway back to the main topic you guys think it'll be ok to send it in 1 envelope. |Will the SSA return cost more than 10 baht then?

Note

The notification of staying in the Kingdom over 90 days is in no way equivalent to a visa extension.

If a foreigner staying in the kingdom over 90 days without notifying the Immigration Bureau or notifying the Immigration Bureau later than the set period, a fine of 2,000.- Baht will be collected. If a foreigner who did not make the notification of staying over 90 days is arrested, he will be fined 4,000.- Baht.

If a foreigner leaves the country and re-enters, the day count starts at 1 in every case.

I wonder what a foreigner has to do to get arrested for not doing his 90 day report. Does anybody have a personal experience with this?

Don't do your 90 day report and then do something to really P*ss off the your local immigration office. :o

I doubt it would happen to a westerner, but I have seen groups

of Aliens, probably Burmese, sitting in the shade beside the Sri Racha

Immigration office, all in handcuffs.
