Hi everyone,

This is my first post in the forum.

I will be soon moving to Bangkok for business purpose. I would like to conduct a survey on which is the preferred mobile operator in Thailand before I get myself a phone line there. I am expecting to make a lot of calls to Bangkok landline so I appreciate if you can cast your vote and share me your feedback as below:

Provider's Name:

Service Plan (Postpay or Prepay):

Call Rate to Bangkok landline:

Billing increment:

I am not very familiar with the mobile telecom in Thailand. However, I heard the billing increment for mobile phone in Thailand is every minute?

Thanks a lot for your participation!

I don't think you are getting any answers because it depends on the luck of the draw and where you are EXACTLY located. In any case prepaid SIM cards are cheap and if one doesn't work well you can try another without breaking the bank. I'd try Dtac or AIS first. I have both and Dtac is better at the moment. Dtac and AIS both offer a number of plans and neither are that expensive or different.

With regard to Prepay/Postpay, you can only get a Postpay contract if you have a Work Permit in Thailand. Otherwise, you will need to get a Prepay card.

Not sure what you mean by "Billing increment".
