animatic
To be expected. Chuwit's a thug. Bouncer, Ex-Pimp? Current Uber pimp of Bangkok pimps. Has hundreds of bouncers. As well as no doubt dozens of S'n'M professionals too. No CLUE where he was hiding the mic. But most likely he WAS talking out his a$$. So that gives a clue. Maybe it was a Deep Background interview! Gonzo the Face
Not to defend Chuwit, no dobt he has problems, but sometimes the jacka$$ media persons, try too hard to make points for themselves , just like the politicos, and go too far. They cross the line , and in all probablity if someone tried to push and push them like they do others, they would strike out also..... Obviously common sense and courtesy are out of style, all over the world. Maybe Chuwit will get his, but I hope he got the MC good gonzo

Just a thought... Actually I say no..... Ask hard and difficult questions, Yes Ask direct and pointed questions ,Yes But to repeat over and over trying to cocerce an answer you would accept, in front of a live & TV audience, in order to blow your own smoke to further your own personnal agenda in not good journalism. You ask a question, you get an answer, it doesn't have to be answered by only what you would accept. To many reporter/personalities try to make a name for themselves at the expense of others..... This is not journalism, I say its looking for sensationalism. Now this personality will no doubt play it to the hilt and have big hospital coverage and court suit of course with coverage. I wonder... he would probably have shot him!... Absolutely right. Plus, of course, he has too much "face" and nothing of substance in his past to warrant it. He is just an empty shell of a scum-bag. Jeremy Paxman would make him speechless in seconds. Did anyone notice on Thai TV news who turned up to help the poor interviewer (Wisal Dilokwanit)? None other than the other self publicising, wannabe Bkk-governor, self-dunking silly-billy Leena Jung. And she was wearing the same bl00dy dress! Has it become her 'trade mark' now? - and two sizes too small, as usual. Chuwit is the man! ... No he isn't - and I acknowledge your sarcasm Without his many armed bodyguards he would be a scared little pussy. What a joke Thai politics is. But the biggest joke is on us farangs arguing about which party/group is the best to run the country when we should be arguing about which is the least worst. There's only one man who can sort this lot out, and I hope he lives long enough to do it. Long live the King.

During the on-the-air interview, the interviewer was blabbing them on air. After the interview and off-camera, Chuwit was upset about this betrayal and hit him once with his elbow behind the interviewer's left ear. Channel 3 was showing him being taken to the hospital where a reddened ear and a small bruise became visible. The interviewer was playing it for all it was worth (no doubt a significant lawsuit is forthcoming) laying on the gurney and writhing in agony while the doctor examined his horrific wounds. I half-expect he'll be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit for these life-threatening injuries. Perhaps not the best choice of idioms is it? Question: where had the microphone been inserted before he removed it? Heng
Khun Wisal has been trying to climb the Channel 3 ladder for years. Despite his rather insightful comments (usually) as an anchor, he's gone precisely nowhere and probably feels a bit resentful (getting the same salary as the former Miss Thailand from the 70's that they usually pair him with who only has to say "ka" to everything he says), like he deserves a 3 mill. a month gig like Sorayuth has. george
Bangkok governor candidate punches TV show host BANGKOK: -- Bangkok gubernatorial candidate Chuwit Kamolvisit lost his temper during a television news talk show, punching and elbowing a show host right after the show ended. During the lunchtime interview, Mr. Chuwit was confronted with tough questions and got into a hot argument with the host, Mr. Visarn Dilokvanit. Mr. Chuwit showed his temper as the host said on-air he was behaving differently from what he had said off-camera. Mr. Visarn was reportedly elbowed, punched and kicked after the show ended. He then went for a hospital checkup and filed charges of physical assault against Mr. Chuwit. The gubernatorial candidate said late Thursday, he admitted he had hurt the talk show host and apologised for his action. However, he said he was verbally attacked by the host and was repelled by the unethical media practice, alleging the host of asking misleading questions. The forty-seven-year-old Mr. Chuwit once a massage parlour tycoon, was not worried about his image as the election drew near, adding he was being honest and could not stand it when someone hurt his pride. The Thai Journalist Association denounced Mr. Chuwit’s action and urged Bangkok eligible voters to apply discretion when going to the polls this Sunday. -- TNA 2008-10-

taxexile
Mr. Chuwit was confronted with tough questions it was actually a very non confrontational question about his election poster and chuwit immediately became defensive and angry , the interviewer sensed this and like any interviewer worth his salt went in for the kill. if chewit had any intelligence or media savvy he would have deflected the challenge with an eloquent response and put the interviwer in his place his outburst , and his later unrepentant performance during an interview with sorayuth ,( where he had to watch a replay of the mornings fiasco and then listen to sorayuth talking to wisul on the phone) when his body language showed him squirming like a cornered rat and making a ridiculous attempt at justifying his outburst by blaming visul for disrespecting him , was childish , amateur and pathetic , even when compared to the already abysmal standards of thai political behaviour and arrogance when in the public eye. its good to see some of these younger interviewers finally confronting these old school , thuggish and ignorant politicians who seem to demand that the media should grovel to them. politicians should be answerable to those that vote them in or out. the interviewer did a great job in making chewit show his true colours during that interview , and from the viewers and interviewers point of view it should be seen as a successful interview. taxexile
it doesnt matter whether he has a broken skull or a tiny bruise , the fact that a politician standing for the office of governor of bangkok found that the only response he was capable of mustering to a question he didnt like was a physical assault on the questioner is the only fact of any importance here. the point of the interview was to present him to the public to help them decide if he is fit and capable of holding high office ? my fear is that the thai public , in all their wisdom , will vote this loud mouthed bully in , based on his showing today. Plus
No big deal, at least in these parts of the world. Taiwan, for example is famous for fistfights in parliament. Master Chief
I think this guy will win the post of Bangkok governor, thai people love this kind of guys, mobsters! The ex PM was the same kind of guy, shouting to the media to stop asking question he could not answer, still he was a favorite. I have no high respects for thai politics or its paid voters. At least Chuwit does not like Thaksin, so vote for him. Just look at this Chalerm with his two thugs of son's, same mobster type, now the head of health in Thailand.
