normally all routeur that are WDS mode compatible will do it.

if you choose the wrt54gl and install dd-wrt firmware, it can do it 100% sure, this is the model i suggest to my customers for their wifi needs.

WDS - wireless distribution service - can work , but if you can't configure the routers at each point you may have issues , also WPA2 does not seem to work with WDS.

wireless ethernet bridge or wireless client mode is probably your best option - depending if you want your LAN ports on a different/same subnet to the wireless WAN.

I use Tomato firmware on linksys WRT54GLs to achive this
