Try again mate.

Having a little problem understanding your post.

If you are asking about a 60 day tourist visa that has been etended 30 days. The 6 month (not 180 days) rule does not apply.

If asking about visa exempt entry for 30 days. It is a total of 90 days over a period of 6 months starting from your first entry.

********************************************************************************

Edit: Reply to your corrected post. You have to wait until 6 months after your first entry. In other words about 90 days.

IE: If the first entry was on 1 July and you have used up your 90 days. You cannot re-enter until 2 Jan 2009.

The rule is a total of 90 days in a 6 month period using Visa Exempt Entries.

If you have used your limit get a Tourist Visa there is no limits using there.

Your getting confussed between toursit visa;s and visa waivers.

On the 30 day visa waiver rule, you are allowed 3 X 30 day visa waivers ie 90 days in a 6 month period (180 days)....so lets assume you use all your visa waivers one after the other, this would make a total of 90 days...with me so far ??...so how long would we have to wait for the 6 months period to be up ???....180 days ie 3 months.

90 day rule is not applicable to tourists visa's, you can get as many of these as the embassy or consulate will give you...

...90 days in a 6 month period (180 days)...

It is 6 months, not 280 days. The two are not equal and therefore not interchangeable.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

... you are allowed 3 X 30 day visa waivers ie 90 days in a 6 month period (180 days)
Two small details -

1) Its a 30 day Tourist Visa Exempt Entry not a 'visa waiver'

2) There are no possible combinations of six months, starting any month that are 180 days long.
