The situation...

i visited the Kingdom 3 times in the 1st half of last year, for a total of 40 days.

I'm going back in Dec for 2 months (may or may not visit gf's sister in KL). After the 2 months i will be back to the UK, prob until November next year, when i will be back for 2 months again (and maybe get married!).

I have the visa app forms from Thai Consulate in Hull. I gather that getting the Non-Imm O multi shouldn't be a prob from here. And the cost is £100.

I know that if we go to KL ect at the right time, i don't really need a visa at all. Just get the normal 30 day tourist stamp on arrival. Or i could go for 2 or 3 entry tourist visa from Hull, but this is £28 per entry.

So, just to make things easy, and not be too bothered abt comings and goings, it seems sensible to apply for multi O visa. And be easier to set up bank acc too.

Any thoughts welcome....

It’s really up to you.

Option 1: a double-entry tourist visa in November 2008, plus a single-entry tourist visa for November next year. Because a tourist visa for 2 or more entries is valid only for six months, a triple-entry visa would not cover your trip in November 2009.

Option 2: a multiple-entry non-immigrant visa towards the end of November 2008. This will cover your two certain entries in December 2008 and November 2009 plus your possible entry from Kuala Lumpur in December 2008–January 2009. This option has the advantage that you do not have to get an extension if you stay a little beyond 60 days up to a maximum of 90 days at a time...and if you win the lottery you are free to make an unlimited number of additional trips.
