silentnine
Hi all .waht level of insurance do most scooter rental compnies buy for there bikes ? anyone know The very lowest level - only the CTPL so take very great care as you will be paying for just about everything if there is a problem. from my research there appear to be 2 levels or type of the goveremnt basic cover. private and commercial . 323 baht and 380 baht i think should it be the commercial one for a rental or the private . i see on the insurance certificate on the lower one its says not for hire/rent . explanation give to me by the lady at the goverment office was that hire/rent means taxi not rental .. torrenova
I was partially involved with a rental company which did have insurance but we had to withdraw it to 50% and then to zero as people didn't want to pay for it and they abused the bikes when they had it. You will be up for all damages and some places will rip you off royally as well.
