Totally agree. Unless saving £20 is so imperative. Often the change fees, cancellation, seat selection with a cheap agent is different from the terms when booking direct with the airline. I stopped using agents over 20 years ago. Now, use Google flights for routes, schedules and airline options, then book direct with the airline for best service. Other people may choose to do otherwise. My experiences: 1) when the Icelandic Volcanic Ash cloud shut airspace in 2010, Thai Airways gave us priority for seats on one of the first flights back to the UK - easy via their call centre and no need to contact agent 2) Covid - when flight was cancelled - I received a refund within hours with one 5 minute phone call and a simple online submission to the airline direct -

As a German, I give you a pass on your lack of education. "There are three instances in U.S. history in which a portion of a state successfully seceded to create a new state: Kentucky which separated from Virginia in 1792, Maine separating from Massachusetts in 1820, and West Virginia, which also separated from Virginia, in 1863." "The decision to secede from the union was a result of the building tensions in the United States during the 1800s over the institution of slavery, states' rights, and tariffs. States' rights refer to the powers and rights each state retains under the U.C. Constitution." So, a successful secession is NOT an indicator of separation FROM the US but rather an unsolvable difference between the people of the petitioners resulting in new lines being draw on a map. The most recent example: "Proponents of the proposal argued that dividing California into three states would provide fairer and more responsive governance for large regions outside of California's major cities. In July 2018, the Supreme Court of California pulled it from the ballot for further state constitutional review." In conclusion, I weigh the lack of depth, thought and research on your part and post, the fact that you list Germany as your location, the fact that Europe even exists BECAUSE of USA involvement against Germany, which by the way is the ONLY country to start 2 World Wars to take over the world, I summarize the the world 'needs' the US way more than Germany.
