I've been trying to update Ad-Aware 2008 Free, this is normally routine that takes only a few minutes, but the last few days the download creeps to maybe half way or less and then just stops.

I have left it for hours and one time overnight but the download never finishes. Checked with Task Manager and Ad-Aware is not hung and the rest of INTERNET is working normally.

Ayone else experiencing problems with Ad-Aware updates?

No problems running ver 7.1.0.11 - updates in about two minutes.

I think over recent weeks an update of the update manager was released (a few times), if you are still encountering a problem it is probably wise to remove then reinstall the application. Start afresh as it were.

Finally managed to get an update yesterday but it took a couple of hours

I do regular weekly updates so have the latest version of Ad-Aware and usually get the downloads pretty quick. Thought I would try again, it's been going now for several hours with only a few bits downloaded so far. There is something going, or rather not going on that only seems to effect me
