Motorbike Prices In Bangkok

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of buying a motorbike in Bangkok, I have a work permit so presumably I can get one on finance and pay monthly (is this correct)?

Does anyone know how much I have to put down and what the monthly payments would be? I'm not sure what bike I want so information on any would be good.

Carrefour in Pattaya were selling them for B30-40k - not a hugh sum of money really.

I doubt you'd be able to get finance.

Don't forget to put aside a suitable amount to cover your funeral costs!

Not sure about the finance aspect....small bike you cant go far wrong with a Honda Wave....larger bike check this out http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21809 (you may of already read it )

If your only after a scooter to get you around you shouldn't need finance, i recently picked up a Honda sonic for 30,000 baht, 1500 km only so pratically new but a newer model had just come in ie. change of headlight and taillight. You should go for at least a 125cc as anything less is very flat. Avoid any newish bikes with high km over 25 ,ooo km :o

you may want to consider a tuk tuk

more stable and can load up more people... :D:o

Yeah, but they smell like sh1t and don't like corners at 80kph :D

I wouldn't recommend siamsuperbike though, no service and when having problems the owner will refuse to talk to you.
