Hello, I know this has been asked many times, from others. Was woundering about the immigration rules. I arrived in Thailand on April 26, 2008 and departed on July 21, 2008 and am planing on returning on December 23,2008. Now knowing these dates what are or is my time I am allowed to stay in thailand on a Tourist visa...............I am married to a Thai and do not have time to apply for a Non imigrant O visa before I go....Could some one tell me my options and alloted time I can stay for.

Thanks in advance

When you enter in December you will be starting a new 6 month period so you will have 90 days using visa exempt entries until 6 months after your entry. Thats assuming you entered the last time some where around June 20 using a visa exempt entry. If your entry in April was with a tourist or non-o visa entry then no problem.

Tourist and non immigrant visa entries do not count in the 90 limit for visa exemp entries.

You do have well over a month to apply.

If you do not have time to apply for a Non O Visa, how do you have enough time to apply for a Tourist Visa?

If you are talking about 30 day Visa Exempt stamps. The rule is a total of 90 days in a 6 month period.

Get a VISA and save the hassle you have plenty of time.

You can apply by mail, so why can't you apply for a non-O? You have lots of time.

Dont have the required paper work with me, it is all in Thailand,,and wount recieve it on time, or would chance sending it in the mail.

getting the non 0 is the best & most easy for you ,just ask your wife to scan her passport & id card & marriage cert to your email

then send to your countries consulate & pay the fee very easy!!

That was in case you were talking about visa exempt entries since you didn't say if you were on a visa or not. Your original post indicated that you were concerned about the 30 day visa exempt rule which does not apply to visa entries.

I assume you have your passport ... send it and ask for a double entry tourist visa ... and forget about counting days
