November 7, 200817 yr I have a large drape that won't open or close properly. The string is also very worn down. I need a fix. Any suggestions for a shop to go to that could do this (hopefully that won't try to sell me more than I need)? Jomtien preferred but it doesn't matter now that I think about it, need a house call! Also, I have no idea what the fees should be for such a service, for example, service call, replace string, restring the entire drape, probably replace one or two of the metal holders ...
November 8, 200817 yr Half way up Thepprasit - on the South side mostly - opposite Soi 10 and the go kart place - there are four or five drapery establishments. I have used them for replacement cord, but not for any repairs. Talk to them - most are very friendly and are looking for business.
November 8, 200817 yr Slightly off topic but does anyone know an easy way to clean vertical hanging blinds or a company who offer this service. Cream coloured blinds seemed a great idea when I first moved in

You may damage them if too delicate.
