November 8, 200817 yr Hi all, I have a small project that requires a cameraman for a couple of months... maybe a little longer depending on how it plans out. Ideally I'm looking for someone that has experience in both filming and editing, so a fresh uni grad might fit the deal as I need to keep costs low. If you were in my shoes, where would you start looking? Are there any publications/web sites? Clubs? Is it worth contacting a few universities? Thanks in advance!
November 8, 200817 yr There are some good programs on the market. I use Cake walk for just a fun hobby but I do some recording as well but its grate for Video editing, also there are a lot of user friendly programs out there.. If you have the apatite to learn some funky things why not play around with it for a while and if you know what you want in your project then im sure you will do a good job.. Just me anyways. second best option would to see if any uni students would be whiling to help out for a bit of cash. im not sure what university teaches media course but perhaps there are privet collage as well. Google is your friend

November 8, 200817 yr Author Thanks everyone for responding and leaving some great ideas! So far I've posted a bit about my project on some film/creative forums and on my blog. jobsdb.com is a great idea, I've used them before and was over whelmed with the responses (although this was for a different role). I'm also going to get a friend to write on pantip.com and sanook.com to see if I can find anyone interested there. @meithai - I'm sending you a PM now
