You may find a few at Asia Books shops.

But why don't you order what you want online (for instance with Amazon)?

They are getting hard to find - Kinokuniya formerly had a good selection as did Book Chest, but they both seemed to have discontinued stocking them. Branches of Sce-Ed have a few. I also find Amazon.com to be the best source - shipping charges are almost offset by their discounts.

PM me with any titles that you are interested in ... I may be able to help you out.

There is a Thai bookshop on the top floor of MBK (where you buy tickets for the cinema). IIRC they had a selection of computer books, mainly in English.

Also there are English computing sections in the book stores in Robinson's (Asoke at least) and Central (Chid Lom).

Having said that I haven't examined their collections closely - what can you get from a book that isn't available on-line? Haven't bought a computer book for over ten years.

There's an academic book supplier with a shop near Thong Lo BTS - never been there, but it's on my list of things to do :o

The Book Chest at Pantip Plaza and Siam Suare may have the biggest collection of english computer books.

Cheers.

If you are ever passing through Singapore then I can recommend the Computer Book Centre in Funan Digital Mall, 3rd floor. The shop is bigger in size I think than the Asia Books branch @ Emporium and stocks an extensive range of computer texts. While they don't have in stock everything listed on the website they are usually good at ordering in if you give them some advance notice. Open 7 days a week.

The Book Chest in Fortune specialises in IT books and has the best selection I've come across. They also have a branch in Pantip but that one carries a lot of out of date stock.

The Book Chest at Fortune is closed for some time already. Best is the Book Chest at Siam Square and Pantip.

Cheers.

Why not just download them?

Asia Books in all Central department stores.

Yeah sorry I got the name wrong. It's called the IT Bookhouse, near the escalators on the 3rd floor I think. Small shop but packed with fairly recent books, good selection.
