traveldog
Hi. I had some mirrors installed in new bath cabinets.....and there is I think glue residue or something on the mirror surface. Does anyone know of a safe way to remove. It doesn't budge with window cleaner and I don't want to scratch the mirror of course. The installation shop is not helping...mai pen rai?? Thanks for any advice.

longball53098
Try a small amount of lamp oil/kerosene on a rag should also work If the glue is thick try a good sharp razor blade to get the heavy layer off first and the cleaning solution of your choice needs to soak into the glue to be effective. Go slow so as not to scratch the mirror. When finished use your glass cleaner to remove the oily remains. freddy
A cutter blade at a sharp angle (25-45 degrees) will work. Use this all the time in my picture frame workshop, just be careful with the angle.
