kurgen
On Thursday afternoon approximately 1,000 protesters from the People’s Alliance for Democracy, better known by its acronym PAD, descended on the grounds of Banglamung City Hall in a show of support for their colleagues in Bangkok. The demonstration was organized following the death of one PAD protester and injuries to 23 others after a bomb blast at the main PAD protest site in Bangkok in the very early hours of Thursday morning. While PAD protesters in Bangkok brought the body of the man killed in the blast to the Metropolitan Police Bureau and demanded justice be done, local PAD protesters organized their rally to centre on Banglamung City Hall. Although the Chief of Banglamung District was not present when the protesters arrived, the PAD demonstrators stayed in the grounds for a few hours chanting slogans and making a general nuisance of themselves until it came time to clock off and go home. Scott
It's nice to know we in BKK aren't the only ones bothered by these folks.
