Dear All,

I'm hoping that i can get some info here as i didnt get anything on the SE Asia forum.

Hope its ok to copy my post onto this forum, forgive me if its not.

Leaving for Laos border today so i hope someone could possibly help.

Firstly many thanks to those who gave me info on the visa run to Laos.

However, i didnt get any info on where to stay for a couple of nights.

Could anyone who lives there or has very recently visited kindly give me a few places.

Will be taking my wife with me, so would looking for somewhere safe, friendly and clean and as stated will be staying 2 nights.

Additionally any riverside restaurants would be a bonus.

I was informed rightly or wrongly that there are lovely places to stay for 800 - 1,000Baht per night.

Have tried sourcing them on the net to no great success, so i was hoping you guys may help.

We would like to sample the delights of Laos, and not the hustle-bustle similar to BKK.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

James.
