Refund Of Air Tickets

Featured Replies

How does one go about a request for air ticket cancellation? I doubt if the airport will reopen in the next five days so maybe if I request my money back I might be sucessful. I was due to fly to Sydney with Emirates.

Do they refund back to credit card used for booking? (About 39 thousand baht).

It is impossible to get through by telephone so I will visit their Bangkok Office direct.

I was just told by a Travel Agent here in Australia it can take 12 weeks to get a re-fund.Unbelievable :o

So fare we are advised only by Etihad that refunds will be given for all tickets for departures up to 3 Dec at no charge BUT no-one will refund like this until AFTER your flight date, Emirates I believe like others will take you from KL or Singapore IF there are seats. It is a mess at the moment and there is no common policy except that you can use your tickets at a later date. Hope that helps

I had the same question: I am booked on a domestic flight from Don Muang to Udon Thani; it's not much money--- about $150 but I want it back.

Thai Airways does not answer the phone; I've sent emails and no reply. I have received no messages from Thai.

What to do? Kiss the money goodbye?
