Electronic Thai - English - Thai Translator

I could do with one of those electronic translators or more precisely my other half would like one. I see them in places like BigC all the time but the sales staff are utterly clueless and they could be selling a remote control for the Hubble telescope !

Anyone got one or can recommend one ?

If your other half is a native Thai speaker and he/she is using it to study English, I can advise you a taking dict.

If your other half is not a native Thai speaker and he/she is using it to study Thai I would not buy any electronic dictionary.

These dictionaries are typically designed for Thai people that want to study English.

You can have a look at their website before you go to buy such a device. The websites explains much more than any seller will be able to say.

The problem with most devices is that they can't "speak" Thai with a human voice or they can't speak Thai at all. Please look at the detailed specifications of each device.
