Reading the forum the consensus seem to be that the best thing to do for New Year is " go back home or go to the beach". Going with the beach option which of the 2 locations would members recommend to party on New Years Eve , Patong or Pattaya. Obviously there are loads of other beach location options, but I am looking for a nice white beach (dosent have to be secluded or anything) and some fun night life. Any other ideas or locations please recommend.

Then get in walking st early and get a front line seat, you will see some real sights, ill be one of them by 9pm

Sorry , you missed all the New Year's fun - that happened about 18 years ago before South Pattaya was stupidly renamed (and I hate to use the words) Walking Street.
