About Dvb-t In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi all~

Does anyone know DVB-T channels and corresponding operating frequency in Thailand?

Is DVB-T popular in Thailand?

How many channels are working in Thailand?

Is there any document about the DVB-T development and national standard in Tailand?

I need some information in English because I can't read Thai.

Thank you! :o

Really? I thought you have DVB-T in Thailand.

So what kind of Digital TV standard do you use in Thailand?

I am sorry that I am not allowed to post a URL directly, so please connect it by yourself.

According to the above description, I think there should be DVB-T in Thailand.

It might be not popular or even not published yet.

Although, I also appreciate if some body could help me to search the related rules.

I think there should be some public documents describing the DVB-T in Thailand.

However, it might be written in Thai, and I could not read it thus.

I want to know the operating frequency of DVB-T used in Thailand.

It would be defined in the official standard by the digital TV organization of Thailand.

Thanks anyway! :o

Let's not forget the amateur 5.1 to stereo conversion by throwing away all channels except the left and right so that vocals are barely audible. :o

Endorsing something at ASEAN and then implementing it, are two different things ...

There is no DVB-T (under 900mhz) but there is DVB-S2 and DVB-H currently in the country.

earlier this year MCOT did a test on ch 58 at their ratchada site and later moved it to bayoike. not sure if it is still on the air or was CA (conditional access) with some speical korean handsets -

or the current status but it was/is being tried.

there will be no real adoption until a goverment gets in place long enough to appoint a committee to assign frequencies. then it will most likely be built on a euro-standard shared infrastructure.
