I am going to Laos tonight to get the double entry visa. I am going to stay in Laos for a week or two and on the way back get a the Double Entry visa.

With all these new rulings has double entry visa changed?

Is it still:

2 months

1 month extension

Leave the country

2 months

1 month extension

For a total of 6 months are has the new rulings changed this.

If it has changed please explain so that I can understand.

No changes. It is exactly the same as before.

Just make sure you activate the second entry before the Visa expires.

The Visa is valid for 3 month only.

Ok I am very new at this whole visa run thing - so I hope someone can help me with the 101 basic course of instruction :-)

I am currently in Pattaya, when I arrived recieved a 30 day stamp and just realized I am expiring on Tuesday the 9th - oops!! I like the sounds of this whole double entry visa thing but pretty clueless - my intention is stay here probable 4-6 months longer - would much prefer to get advice here then just walk into a "Visa Run" shop not knowing right from wrong.

Hope someone open to giving a newbie advice :-)
