There are new rules for the VOA. All nationalities crossing a land border now get only 15 days. The 30 days VOA has been abandoned except for when you are arriving via air. I am also told that there is no longer a 90 day rule for the VOA and that you can get as many 15 day stamps as you want. This was implemented starting on the 5 December 2008.

You are about a week late on this and its to do with Visa Waivers not VOA's

The change is not about the VOA (visa on arrival) but about visa-exempt entry into Thailand. It is discussed here:
