IE on my new computer (Equium running Vista 32bit) keeps stopping. Windows then restarts it again. Very annoying. Any Ideas??

Is the OS pre-installed by manufacturer?

Could you download Google Chrome or Firefox? if so install one or even both them as alternative.

Run an Upgrade check via Microsoft. But keep in mind that you need to set Automatic Upgrade to ON!

Cheers.

No, they all go via windows but not 'via' IE.

I had a problem with IE on both XP and Vista a while ago in which after browsing TV for some time - opening new tabs for each thread I read, the whole screen would flash and IE would freeze up and I'd have to restart IE (not Windows, IE - OS and other apps unaffected). Anyway I switched to Google Chrome and it worked fine with Vista for a while until a couple of weeks ago that started acting flakily (move tabs caused it to crash, again not the OS, just the browser), so I changed to Firefox. I have now tried the new Chrome (post-beta) and that seems to be working fine.
