cymruambyth1
That's very, very niceWhat software etc did you use? How many shots and exposures? Thank you very much! 3x shots MEAN ISO100, 1/160 Exposure compensation 0 UNDER EXPOSED ISO100, 1/320 Exposure compensation -2 OVER EXPOSED ISO100, 1/80 Exposure compensation +2 I basically stood there for about 20 minutes and changed the ISO readings for the 3x bracketed shots, then had a play with the following software to see which one cam out best. I am still VERY much a newbie to all of this and need to take dozens of shots to make sure I get 3 that 'work' Merged into HDR by Photomatix Pro 3 (Details Enhancer mode) then a little bit of farting about in Lightroom (mainly to brush down the contrast in the sky to give it that darker, more ominous look) even though the clouds did not look anything as menacing as they do in the photo. That is what I really like about HDR. Tripod and remote shutter used too. Edited December 18, 2008 by cymruambyth1
cymruambyth1
WOAH! stunning work there, cymruamtyth1 (god thats hard to type) Thank YOU very much also! Yes, it is hard to type as you have spelled it wrong It actually means "Welcome to Wales" and as I have been told, only Eskimo (Inuit) is more difficult to learn as a language.
