Multiple Entry On Visa On Arrival ?

Featured Replies

My sister and I are going on a 3 week Southeast Asia round trip in April starting in Bangkok and finishing in Phuket, with a few different countries in between. I'm travelling on an Australian passport and my sister will be on a UK passport.

My question is although in theory neither of us needs a pre-arranged visa and can get a 30 day tourist visas on arrival , because we are entering Thailand twice within 30 days do we need to get a different type of visa or will we have no problems?

Many thanks in advance....

First so you do not confused when you arrive it is not a visa on arrival. A VOA is only for those from certain countries and is only for 15 days and has to be applied for on arrival.

You will be getting a visa exempt entry good for 30 days each time you you arrive at the airport at the passport control point (immigration).

As long as you have return or onward travel tickets within the 30 days each time you travel you will need no visa.

Enjoy your trip.

Note that at the airport you will get 30 days, at a land border you will only get 15 days.

Thanks for the info guys...We are arriving by air each time so we should get 30 days at each arrival.... :o

I didn't mean for my post to be a lecture. More concern that if you were a first time visitor with VOA in your mind and saw the sign pointing to the VOA counter you might get in a very long line for nothing.

Again enjoy you trip.

Joe
