PM helps Sukhumbhand in city campaign

Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva joined Bangkok governor candidate running under Democrat banner Sukhumbhand Paribatra on his campaign on Saturday afternoon.....

I think that our Eaton/Oxford lad has in actual fact adapted the concept of the "Old Boy" network to the local.....Thai.... context. Next --I mean at approximately 5 minutes AFTER the usual times-- will the tune of Men of Harlech be sung in accompaniment with the requisite Thai lyrics?? One wonders. Perhaps Sonthi/Sondhi could assist in writing those lyrics and so assist this glorious nation in evading and/or mitigating any foreign threats as so imagined by the PAD and its childish followers.

What exactly are you on about ... the head of the Demos showing up in support of the Demo running for Gov of BKK? (Arguably the 2nd most important elected office in Thailand)

You think Abhisit introduced campaigning for someone in the party in Thailand?

What are YOU on about? Yawn.... more defensive PAD tripe. When will the PAD realise that "Public" does NOT equate solely with Bangkok and that "The People" do in fact include those citizens living in ALL provinces? Bangkok is NOT Thailand in terms of all the cultural/linguistic diversity represented by this Nation. Bsngkok represents Han Chinese Thailand. Most of the rest of this country is not Han Chinese in terms of cultural..... "enrichment".

You must be joking ... What does post 4 have to do with the topic?

But to address post 4's silliness .... What area in Thailand has ALL the language and culture bases that exist in Thailand covered?

What percentage of BKK is ethnic "Han Chinese"? etc etc ...

Really ... back to your first post ---- what are you talking about "good ole boy" and trying to palm off on the TV members that Abhisit has done anything unusual in stumping for the Demo BKK Gov candidate?

Are you serious? Who do you think that you and all your other (paid?) PAD Propagandist "old-THAI-CHINESE" buddies get their rocks off on (to put it most politely)?

Please address post #1 ...

then feel free to address the fact that BKK has people of ALL the ethnic groups in Thailand present and voting here ..... but you can skip that since post 4 didn't have squat to do with your topic :o

Not only is this thread an exercise in futility, it seems it is mainly designed to be inflammatory.

OP, do you really have no concept of how the political system works in every country? It is standard procedure for popular politicians to campaign for others. they all do it. This is not news, this is not the English "old boys network" .its called politics.
