penelope Posted December 25, 2004 Share Posted December 25, 2004 (edited) Eldrick Tont Woods ...now most golf fans know that Tiger is his nickname and Eldrick is his real first name, but not many know that his legal second name is a Thai name given by his mother. The spelling above (Tont) is how it was written in a book...and the way you say it I believe translates to 'tree', quite apt I think given the big ass tree guarding the green on the Tiger hole at Blue Canyon Edited December 25, 2004 by penelope Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
