Hi all,

If my stay in Thailand has reached 90 days let's say the 90th day is 10 January, Can I go to Vietnam/Cambodia on 10 Jan morning, and come back to Thailand again?

My question is:

Will they allow me to come in ?

If yes, is it 7 days only?

Thanks in advance

If you are talking the limit of 90 days using visa entries of 30 days. That rule is gone. And has been gone since Nov, 25.

But if you do a border run you will only get 15 days when you return. If by air its still is 30 days.

I am not sure what you are asking here.

It all depends on the visa/entry stamp that you have at the moment.

As a general rule if you cross the border and come back you will receive a 15 day stamp

in your passport.

The old rule about 90 days in 6 months, using Visa Exempt stamps has been abandoned.

hi, let me explain in more details.

I came in to Thailand on:

15 August to 14 September ( I leave to Malaysia ), then 12 November I came back to Thailand again with 60 days tourist visa, which my stamp is until 10 January.

If 10 January means I have achieved the 90 days in 6 months window, am I right?

I would like to know am I able to do a border run for 15 days? This is because some of my friends said I can only get 7 days stamp.

Astral,

"As a general rule if you cross the border and come back you will receive a 15 day stamp

in your passport."

This means If 10 January I do a border run I can get another 15 days?

ubonje,

"... has been gone since Nov, 25" means no more rules for 90 days? My understanding is 90days in 6 months window means you are not allow to stay more than 90 days in thailand in 6 months window, am I right?

thanks in advance.

There is no longer a rule that says you cannot stay for more than 90 days in six months.

If you do a border run you will get 15 days.

You can do as many visa exempt entries as you want now. No more counting of days.

Also that rule never applied to entries made by any type of visa.

ubonjoe,

Thanks alot, because I experienced once last few years at custom, they block me to come in to Thailand by giving the reason "exceed 90 days stay in 6 months", therefore I am abit worry this time.

Thanks for advice.

Don't worry you will not have a problem. I am 100% sure of that.

thanks in advance.

He says he came in on a TOURIST VISA for 60 days, seems to me he could go down to Immigration and get a 30-day extension for baht 1,900/

No?
