Hello,

Is it possible to obtain a long term visa based on studying Thai with a private teacher?

I live in the Surin area and I have not found any school where I can take classes. However, I plan to hire a private teacher to learn the language, but I was wondering if this would allow me to apply for a visa.

I do plan to study Thai quite intensively and want to master the language (fluency level speaking, reading as well as writing).

Thanks,

Arnaud.

You have to attend a school registered with the Ministry of Education to get an ED visa.

I was expecting something along these lines... Thank you very much for the confirmation.
