Anything People Can Do To Help Out In Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Sitting here watching the TV footage just makes me feel so helpless. Have already donated blood, clothes and blankets, but would like to know if anyone knows of any organisations that need volunteers in Bangkok? Would be more than willing to go down to Phuket to help but don't know whether I would get in the way or be useful. Unfortunately, don't have any medical training but do have lots of free time at the moment over the holiday period and desperate to help in some way. If anyone knows anything about this, please let us know.

Besides donating blood you might help here:

Bangkokrecorder.com: "Thammasat University is asking for volunteers to help victims of the disaster in the South. They need help with assisting tourists at their Rangsit Campus, especially translating German and Scandinavian languages to Thai or English. Call Khun Chamcharus under 01 6553130."
