We are in early planning mode for our holiday at the end of the year, the plan is to fly out on the 18th Dec.

I know that Christmas is not really celebrated in Thailand but where would be best for us to spend Christmas? We will stay in Bangkok first and then onto Pattaya, should we stay in Bangkok for Christmas or head onto Pattaya? we will be in Pattaya for new years.

Am I right in thinking that Pattaya would be a little bit more like Christmas due to the amount of tourists?? OK I have no idea and looking for help. :o

Pattaya by a mile. However you will notice Christmas is everywhere in thailand even though not official - more a commercial day for thai(s) sort like Valentines.
