Had this service for a couple years, slow but dependable. The last 2 weeks

I keep getting disconnected after 2 or 3 minutes !!! Very annoying !!!

I was wondering if anyone on this service has this problem before I chuck the

Nokia and computer out the window. Feed back welcome. thanks :o

Where do you live?

That can make a lot of difference as GPRS and EDGE depend on the number of voice calls in progress on your local cell site. The more calls the slower the GPRS and EDGE service becomes and it does not matter if it is AIS or DTAC, just the amount of traffic carried by the site.

I live 65km from Khampaeng Phet 6km from the site. Monday afternoons and Wednesday mornings are bad as that is the local market days but if I go to the other site (on my wifes land) 3 km the other way I have no problems as there are not so many users around and that is only a small site.

Switch over to a DTAC sim to see if it's a LT problem or AIS. :o

Ais are having a lot of problems, i rang them yesterday about getting invalid APN when connecting they said no one could connect to gprs for around 2-3 hours, I also have DTAC but the coverage is very limited as compared to AIS.

All day Ais keeps dropping out and giving incorrect username/password when re connecting, then will work the next time.

Have exactly the same problem, often it disconnects after just 5 seconds!

Currently on the road and using Dtac, hope it gets resolved quickly, because for me (read in my area) AIS is a fair bit faster then Dtac.

Thanks for the education folks :o nice feedback. I guess you saved my stuff. :D

I will muddle thru and try to mellow out. Will try some of the ideas.
