I recently updated my subscription to McAfee security. I contacted them about this problem, and they blew me off, referring me to Microsoft. I'm sure you all know how much help a single user can get from Microsoft! So I'm hoping that somebody out there can help me get rid of this error message. It pops up every time I boot up. It began immediately after installation of the McAfee upgrade, which I why I suspected that as the source; but it may not be.

The error message is as follows:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error: object does not support this property or method: 'gobjReg.RegDeleteKey'

When I simply close it, everything appears to operate with no problem. But it's a real PITA to have to do that on every startup.

Does anybody know how to either correct the error; or, at least, delete the repeated error message?

Thanks!

I am not a scripter but they might be right to advise to contact MS for this issue. Because this error indicates that the error source is in the VB not in McAfee.
