She has given me a 12 digit number starting 003 *** *** ***

Is this the right one?

Just whipped my wife's Thai passport. It begins with one letter and is followed by 6 digits... :o

Checked a Thai friend's passport .. same thing letter, and 6 digits.

the 12 digit number is the ID-card number.
