Confirmation Letter From The Bank

Featured Replies

Asking for the confirmation letter of my savings account, the branch manager asked me how I want the letter to be issued. (content)

It's the first time I need the letter; can somebody enlighten.

Thanks

The balance of your account to match the amount in your passbook both totals need to match .Get your passbook made up to date also.

Official bank headed paper stating your bank balance on the date it is issued. They really should know.

I'd recommend the letter also includes your passport number.

The bank should know what is required, as long as you have explained to them what you need it for.

The branch of SCB I use in Pattaya (Beach Road, near Walking Street) certainly does. It takes about 15 minutes for them to issue a letter, and it costs 200 Baht. They want your passbook and your passport for photocopying. Couldn't be simpler.

No PP number is needed.

Here is a sample letter which has worked for me in BKK.
