I don't mind spiders but these ones creep me out. I had one drop onto my shoulder out in our avocado plantation last week and my husband got to see me jumping around screaming like a girl "get it off me, get it off me" (Ok yes, I am a girl but not normally the kind that screams like a girl over spiders. Rats, yes, spiders, no. :o )

He says they are not poisonous but I would be interested to know what they are called as well.

looks like an orb spider to me. Not poisonous to humans and very beautiful. Id still snot it with the Bangkok post though :o
