Thai police arrest Briton wanted on sex charge

BANGKOK -- A British man has been arrested in Thailand and charged with the sexual abuse of underage boys in his native country, police said Thursday.

Andrew Simon, 48, was arrested in northeastern Buriram province on Wednesday evening while staying at his girlfriend's house, said Colonel Prasart Khaemaprasit.

Prasart said Simon had fled to Thailand from Britain two years ago and was wanted by British authorities in connection with the abuse of boys aged under 16.

"He accepts that he was the man on the warrant," Prasart said.

Most offenders of these charges do re-offend.... irregardless of their location

Good that he has been caught, and will now be sent back to face justice.

I'd actually prefer him to face justice elsewhere - somewhere where the justice system would actually punish him as deserved.

I've just done a quick internet search but, all I found were links to the same article as in the OP - no photo. Hopefully the UK tabloids will get on his case & he'll be revealed & shamed accordingly.
