Does anyone know the status of Laem Singh Beach? It's between Kamala and Surin Beaches. You walk down a steep jungle path to an isolated cove. We have great memories of several trips there, to a place run by a man named Ali and his family.

Just came back from there. Nothing left!

Seems from talking to a thai guy that there were about 50 farangs and the local thais there when it hit. The water went out 200 or so meters and many went down to look and then the wave hit.

Since it is a steep climb out of there many were washed away.

On apositive note there is a local down there with beach chairs and umbrellas set up for business and jet skis racing along the waters edge.

North end of kamala is now set back about 20 meters from where it was. Trees still rotted but all around is 1 meter lower.
