I am using a CAT supplied MC727 USB CDMA modem, and ive just noticed on the users manual it states this ..

GPS Capability - allows you to retrieve data from GPS satellites

I wondered if any one else had seen this option and knew more about it, ive done a web search

but not come up with much .

On the back of the box of the MC727 it says:

"Built-in GPS Receiver

Network operator dependent. Requires an account with a wireless service provider."

CAT didn't mention GPS functionality.

I had not noticed the '' Network operator dependent '' part , so thats out of the window then , bugger

CAT-CDMA does not support the GPS option unfortunately.
