Geekfreaklover
So, it would seem the general consenus is that closed threads attract more readers. More readers attract more sponsers. More sponsers mean... ... we can expect the number of closed topics to increase. !

Spee
no, you are not alone. Closed threads are often the only ones worth reading, Definitely not alone ... it's sort of like a morbid curiousity in the same vein as people rubber-necking at a traffic accident. No one wants it to happen to them, but they can't resist sneaking a peek to see what happened.

JetsetBkk
...Thavisa has become quite pathetic of late and seems to be growing worse. Would you prefer it if they understood what your initials stood for and what your avatar means? Maybe the mods could google it?
JSixpack
The best one's are the one's that get not just closed but deleted. You have to get to them before a MOD does of course though. Exactly right! And when you look for the previous posts of your favorite banned member, you tend to find them gone as well, esp. the one that finally got him banned, which must have been really good. keestha
Starting this thread, in no way it was my intention to initialize a discussion about the moderating. But the way it developed, it might be somewhat useful in the way of helping the moderators to stay in touch with the feelings among the general public.
