Killing Time After 1pm

I am meeting someone at the airport at 3.30am and can't be bothered to go to bed and then set my alarm for 3am. In the old days I would just stay in bar until then but with the new 1am curfew I am at a loss as to know what to do. Any late night coffee shops around Sukhumvit for instance?

Any advice much appreciated...

Its not a curfew, just bar closing. Some nights bars are open til 2am as well but there seem to be little consistency so you can't bank on it.

Sukhumwit road becomes one big street bar after closing time. You'll have no problem occupying your time after 1PM...........and then theres the obvious way to kill a couple of hours............

Foodland is still open 24hrs, no. If you have nothing better to do a good place to observe the comings and goings of the Sukhumvit crowd.

Grace Hotel would pass a quick hour. Bowling even if your sober enough

You could get taxi at 2am and have a drink in the airport bar.

Is the airport bar open at that time? Talking of aiport bars - in departures, when passed passport control, there is a sad lack of bars. Just a scummy KFC. Someone should open an Irish bar there which allows smoking. Make a fortune.

As for tomight I guess I will just trawl the streets and see what turns up. Not sure I'm the man for the Grace though.....

Theres a bar on the 3rd floor at the airport behind Bill Bentleys which has a smoking terrace.
