Inevitable really.

That would have to be about the thirtieth time Miss Phuket's been posted on the forum!

:o

Two very nice shots already.

A sweet old lady on Dongtan beach.

That's a beautiful shot and a beautiful lady hughden. I feel sorry for those who cannot see the beauty of older women. The old photographer's adage--the easiest way to get a good shot is to shoot children or old people. Your shot just reminded me of one I took a while ago, I'm going to go search for it now.

A genuinely pretty lady, Khun Wife at 53 :D (flowers are quite nice too).

NO.

The idea is that it should be your own photographs........

Crossy has a challenger now best 2 so far.

Being one of those people who presses buttons first, and reads manuals second; it was inevitable that I should drop in some photos without reading the rules....

I now find I have broken at least two contest rules by submitting more photos than allowed, none of which were taken within the last three months (some were five months ago). And I got the sizing wrong!

I therefore withdraw all my entries; although I am with Kan Win in querying why the 3 month rule. This is not a serious competition and people are not going to be going out to shoot specifically for a contest topic. I think you should be allowed to submit any of your photos, irrespective of when taken.

The three month rule was part of the original suggestion,

but I see no reason to make it hard and fast,

though it will encourage member to be on the look out for new shots

Took this last year.

Having considered the comments here and in the other thread

I am extending the challenge until the 1st March.

Giving everyone a chance to get out and take some new photos.

The photos submitted must be not older than 3 months.

BTW that invalidates my own entry.

I hope this will be acceptable.

I enjoy watching these type of contests.

Mine too :o

Changing the rules halfway through, been taking lessons from Thai immigration? :D

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

It is for fun! But as with any kind of fun there must be a few ground rules.

This is the first challenge, discussing, tweaking and changing the rules can only be expected and this will help make future challenges run nice and smoothly.

So let's see some more pretty old ladys :o
