johnfb
I have comprehensive car insurance in Bangkok with a local company for my 2004 BMW (it is for full repairs but not at BMW dealer, if I use BMW dealer there is an excess). I have had the insurance for over a year. My BMW car badge on the front grill has been stolen, can I claim for this, is it likely that I must pay something for the badge? I have no idea of the cost. Of course I want it fixed on securely.
ThaivisaInsurance
After having obtained the police report, we suggest you present it and the details to your Broker who will help you with the claim. Suggestion – check on the cost as claiming for a small item may cause you to loose your NCB the following year and so may not be worth the time/trouble. torrenova
Of course you don't claim. If your NCB is going to be 30% after 1 year and perhaps a bit more after year 2 then you'd lose say 40% of Bt30,000 which is Bt12,000. Adjust figures accordingly but the principle remains the same.
