Hey guys, im visiting BKK in a few weeks and having watching the movie 'BKK dangerous' last night, the nightclub used there looks awsome!!! I just visited their website, and memebership starts at 10,000Baht - what the hel_l !!

Has any-one been there before and can share their experiences & can u just pay a One-off nightly entrance fee ?? Im not paying 10,000baht even if it is for a year ....

Not really on topic.....But what did u think of the movie?In my opinion,it sucked,and i am a big fan of Nicolas Cage.I just thought the bit where he killed himself was weak,who the heck wrote this movie plot?? Man that sounds like one expensive club,unless you go all the time!

I was a member about 3 yrs ago. Discount on bottles and some other advantages. Unless you are a resident here wouldn't think it will be worth it.

Place is not as popular is it once was but still busy my friends tell me. And yes, there is a one night entry fee (was about 400bht at one time) then there is a charge for ice, time spent with the employees, bottle charge, and I have seen them hit visitors for tips infinitum. Good shows when I used to go.

Well Pang Brothers uh wrote it - originally a Thai Movie. (much better than the remake IMHO) Joe (hitman) is the mute in the thai movie and their is no sidekick. Anyways I like the look/feel of the remake, but not nearly as good as the original. Yeah the end was bit of a downer, but whole point is things don't always end happily.

The membership fees at these kind of clubs don't just cover admission, they come with a certain number of bottles (varies depending on plan and club) of whiskey/vodka/gin etc. Not bad if you live in Thailand and like these kind of clubs. You can also pay a one night entrance fee.

I was a member a few years ago as well. At the time there wasn't a entrance fee but the drinks are much more expensive if you're not a member. Maybe 300 baht for a beer or something along those lines. I always went the membership route which would be a certain amount of bottles of booze, a certain amount of 'drinks' to be given away as tips- and various combinations between the two. It's possible to buy a membership and blow it all in one night. Caribbean is best experienced with friends so if you have three or four of you together you could pitch in for a membership.
