Want To Reduce Image For Upload To Tv

Featured Replies

I was so impressed with the answers to my question today I have another:

I have been emailed an image and want to present it on TV. Two actually:

http://chiangmaicalendar2009.googlepages.com/smallwonders

http://chiangmaicalendar2009.googlepages.c...lwondersengthai

First it refused an image link (You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board. A valid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.gif, an invalid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.one.gif)

saying it was in the wrong format. It said

You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board. A valid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.gif, an invalid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.one.gif

I then downloaded to desktop (Mac) then went to upload. It refuses and tells me:

Select a file

Attachment space used 543.01K of 78.13MB

Max. single upload size: 20MB

Not sure where to go from here. I can see the whole file is too big. Could the system have sensed after just 543.01K that it was going to be too big and stopped me? If so how would I reduce the pixels for upload?

Thanx v much (again)

John

John, why didn't you open an free account by http://www.photobucket.com upload your pictures to there and than just post the URL Link to the pic in question on the forum using the Insert Image buttom? it's easy to do and even keep your pic's available for yourself if you not on your own computer! :o

Cheers.

Hey Reimar wie gehts dir?

yes I already have a photobucket acct.

When I tried to transfer from iPhoto direct it wouldn't.

So I linked to the URL and got

0 of 2 images have uploaded

Upload failed for smallwonder with error: Invalid file type

Upload failed for smallwondersengthai with error: Invalid file type

Think I'll just add the link.
